Boyce Chartered Accountants is ranked as the #1 Regional Accounting Firm in Australia in the AFR’s Top 100 Accounting Firms list for 2018, and the third highest female led firm under $50m. Boyce employs over 125 team members across 5 regional locations - Cooma, Dubbo, Goulburn, Moree and Wagga Wagga. Boyce is committed to promoting opportunities for aspiring young accountants who wish to have a fulfilling and rewarding career whilst remaining in regional Australia.
This scholarship was created to honour the memory of Tony Quirk, a former Boyce Director who was appointed as a Director when he was just 27. Boyce, in conjunction with the University of New England (UNE) Business School (where Tony studied), developed the program to provide accounting students with financial support and a clearly defined career path. Two years on, the scholarship is now open to students at all universities.
The Tony Quirk Scholarship is open for any university student enrolled in a degree that is compliant with the CA and/or CPA entry requirements.
